Although we have no established plans for such work, sometimes to test things, such as confirm that the stem cells we have made are actually stem cells, we may inject these into animals such as rats or mice. Animals are also central to the development of new clinical therapies, as new treatments are usually tested on animals first to establish their scientific value.
